また、仏法を伝授 den-zyu することは
どのような人を師とするか
What kind of person
should we take as our teacher?
かならず証契 syo-kai の人を
ご自身の身体で、坐禅を行う事を第一にしている
The first priority is to do
zazen with the person's own body.
その宗師 syu-si とすべし
必ず、そのような方を師とします
We will surely take such a person as our teacher.
文字をかぞふる学者をもてその導師とするにたらず
自動車教本読むのは好きだが、車の運転は苦手
He like automobile instruction manual,
but he don't like driving cars.
そのような人を、師には出来ません
Such a person cannot be a teacher.
一盲の衆盲 syu-mo をひかんがごとし
一人の盲人が、多くの盲人を導くようなものです
It's like
one blind man leading many blind men.
実際の車の運転をしない人
Someone who doesn't actually drive a car.
そのような人が、バスの運転手を指導するようなものです
It's like such a person is mentoring bus driver
バスの運転手は私達の命を預かる人です
Bus drivers are the people
who hold our lives in their hands.
