正法眼蔵 辨道話（ １２７）
いはんや常住を談ずる門には、万法みな常住なり
[ さらにこのような事が言えないでしょうか ]
moreover,Can't you say something like this?
[ 永遠を考える場合には、すべてが永遠です ]
When thinking about eternity、 Everything is eternal.
身と心とをわくことなし
[ 身体と心を、別々に考えることはないでしょう ]
The body and the mind are not to be considered separately.
寂滅を談ずる門には
[ すべては消えて行く、そのように考察するなら ]
Everything is going away. If we consider it as such.
諸法みな寂滅なり、性と相とをわくことなし
[ すべては消えてゆくのですから、本質と表層を別々に考える事は出来ません ]
Because everything disappears.
We cannot think of the essence and the surface separately.
しかあるを、なんぞ身滅心常といはん
[ それなのにどうして、身は滅するが心は永遠だと言えるのでしょうか ]
How then can it be said
how can we say that our bodies perish but our hearts are eternal ?
正理にそむかざらんや
[ お話しの辻褄が合いません ]
The stories don't add up.
