身体で、直角三角形を描く
身体の中に、幾何学をイメージする
Draw right-angled triangles with your body
Imagine geometry in your body
同時に、この三角形は目には見えません
何故って、その三辺は直線だから
At the same time, this triangle is invisible to the eye
because its three sides are straight lines.
線には、太さがないので見えるわけがありません
何かマジックのような、煙に巻かれたようなお話しです
The line has no thickness, so how can you see it?
It's like some kind of magic, a story in smoke.
身体を使う芸術、能・狂言・歌舞伎とか
Arts that use the body, such as Noh, Kyogen, and Kabuki.
それぞれ、その芸能を特徴づける身体の使い方があるはずです
Each should have its own way of using the body
that characterizes its performing art!
明確な意識で、その型を実行してるはずです
でも、それが程よい感じにおさまってる
明確に線を描きながら
同時にその線を見えないものとしているのでしょうか
He is supposed to be executing that pattern with clear awareness.
But it's all settled in just right.
He is drawing a clear line
And at the same time, he is making that line invisible.
もしそうならば、あらゆる日常の動作において
私達は、明確なラインに沿って身体を使った方がいいし
同時にそのラインを、見えないもとするのがいいのかも知れません
If so, in every daily movement
we should use our bodies along a clear line, and
and at the same time, it may be a good idea to make that line invisible.
